Product updates, Skill releases, and docs changes.
This update adds a dedicated recognition Skill for mixed Korean-Hanja documents and for texts with a lot of Hanja, such as classical Chinese and old books. The existing OCR flow stays the same, and the dedicated model can be used only when a document needs Hanja.
This update adds sharing for company documents and knowledge, and expands recognition to documents you meet every day at work—such as handwriting and time cards. Table-structure recognition and the Korean spelling-check model are improved as well.
This update adds new ways to use your documents, including on-device AI chat, document search, a bookmark editor, and an HWPX viewer.
Add PNG and JPG files directly for OCR. Scans, photos, and screenshots now use the same workflow as PDFs.
PNG and JPG files can now be processed directly without conversion, using the same Skills as PDF files.
The macOS beta for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs arrives in August.
Beta applications will open through the download page and support channels.
The Windows desktop app is now available with OCR, document structuring, and local processing.
Install the app, add the Skills you need, and start processing. Beta users are migrated through the in-app update flow.
Improved table detection and cell-level text extraction in scanned PDFs.
Fewer misses in merged cells and low-resolution scans. The improved model applies to newly processed documents.
Detect tables and export structured data as JSON or CSV.
Fixed incorrect heading and body merges in multi-column documents.
Heading hierarchy is now more accurate in meeting notes and proposal templates.
Your files never leave your PC.
Internet is used only for updates and Skill downloads.
